Priene, Miletus and Didyma

Your tour begins with a drive through the Priene which is an ancient Hellenistic city and was the home of Thales and many other philosophers. Priene's picturesque ruins include several columns of the Temple of Athena, much of the city wall, a well-preserved theater and a council chamber. Next is the ancient site of Miletus; the Great Theater and Faustina Baths are the monuments left from the ancient Miletus. Continue to Didyma to admire the magnificent Temple of Apollo, a great monument of antiquity. Enjoy a typical Turkish lunch in the town of "Didim" (Didyma) at a local restaurant overlooking the ruins of the Temple of Didyma. At the conclusion of your tour, the motorcoach will take you back to Kusadasi where there will be a refreshment stop with a brief carpet presentation.
